First few months on this pill went fine. On the 4th month I start...

i started the loestrin 24 fe this is my first month and i am telling you this
is the worse pill ever. my ob gave it to me for menopause and i have been
doing nothing but bleeding and spottting. i have 3 more white pills to take and
no more. i am depressed and have anxiety and want to jump out of my skin
but the nurse said it will take 3 months for get it. i had a D&C august 6th and
since then i have been bleeding and then spotting, they tell me its hormones
which i am it is. if a dr can't do anything for you just say so and not do this.
i am told to look for another dr and see what they would say in treating menopause and my hormones...some people have no problem just there normal hot flashes. i don't have the hot flashes but my cheeks get red. by the way i am 54 yrs old and 30 yrs ago i had no problem being on the pill...not going to call my dr no more so tired of them saying it takes 3 months. they can keep it... my b/f puts up with me and my moods and i don't think its right... i am so glad i was reading what everyone wrote i thought it was just me. no more on this pill will fine something else or let nature take its course...

This is exactly what is happening to me. My periods are worse than ever, heavier than ever, and I am having 2 per month, and spot/breakthru bleeding in between! Anyway, I will be shopping for a new birth control pill :(

Same with me... fifth month and after the first three months of light breakthrough bleeding, I am now having long periods, heavy and two in one month. My last period lasted 13 days and now I'm a week out from my Placebo pills and have been bleeding for the last 5 days. I'm 41, on BC for peri menopausal symptoms. Don't know how long I should wait until I call my dr about a new pill. And I should mention, this is the first time I've ever been on BC so I'm a newbie at this.

I've had break-through period for 3 months. & the doctor doesn't know when it's going to finish.
