I have been on 50 mg. of Toprol xl for 5 years I find it so hard ...

I was taking 100mg every day for a couple of years. But, I also had to take Advair becuase of my breathing problems. And I started having the palpitaions again and I started getting alot of panic attacks, so my doctor just rescribed me Verapamil.

I have been on toprol for about 3 years ...25 mg and it never controlled my BP. I'm on a diuretic now and it has brought my BP way down. Now I'm trying to get off the toprol and am having labored breathing. I think it has to do with the toprol and I don't know what to do but I am going to keep trying to get off it.
