I know I just posted a really long post but I also have a question. Warning the question is kinda nasty and personal. To any reading that is willing to answer: When I get my period now (since I've started the pill) I don't bleed regularly. The only way I can describe it now is the blood looks like Old blood and to me it is just disgusting. I was wondering if anyone else had had this issue....?

Yes, I had the same thing when I was on Loestrin 24...it was gross, I agree...the only way I could describe it was that it looked/smelled/had the consistency of old blood.

The same thing happened to me when I first started taking the pill. I had just finished my September period, a few days before I took my first pill. Less than three days later, I was bleeding again. The blood was old and almost tissuey...this continued until I took the four brown pills at the end of the month. I am in the second week of my second month, and even though I am way too early for my new cycle, after i skipped a pill, I am bleeding again.
