I have been on this medication for 3 months now. I am a 28 year old male, 6'2", weigh 211lbs, and in overall good health. My blood pressure average is 144/72 without the medication, but on the medication it seems to stay around 136/66. It took about one week for the blood pressure medicine to start working and when it did I felt very tired (which is normal). Now, in my third month I have started to notice new symptoms like severe headache in the right front lobe, severe tiredness, cold fingers and toes (in warm conditions), severe lower back pain, mood swings, blurred vision in the right eye (same location as headache), and a occasional twitch in my right thumb (probably not related to the medicine). When I first started this medication I did read all of these post and figured that everyone was crazy and/or nuts, but know I am thinking that I would rather stop the medication and start seeking out for a better medication.. I know medicine has side effects but damn!!! Anyone else have cold fingers and toes while they have been on the medication..thanks

I am male, 68. I'm taking Lisinopril 5mg for only 3 days. This is the
first medication I've ever been prescribed. Previous BP 140/85.
Now 105/70. I still run 15 mi/week. My endurance has improved.
Initially, I experienced numbness in hands, feet, face. Also cold
& tingling hands. As of today numbness & tingling is only in last
2 fingers & lateral edges of both palms. I'm considering cutting the pill
in half & taking it twice a day to avoid side effects. After 8 hours
problems dissappear. I'm surprised the lowest dosage is so powerful.

Yes, I have had headaches, head pain, numb fingers, toes leg all kind of stuff
when I tell the dr. he tells me I have to allow the medication to get in my system. I am on coreg 10 mg . I have headaches while sleeping most of the time..... To tell the truth it seems like it raised my pressure instead of lowering it .......

I was on till 3 weeks ago, Simvastin, I took myself off it after 3 years, I din'tr feel that that was giving me cold feet, hands, I was going to the shower just to keep warm?
My hands of a morning I cannot make a fist with, when I do manage it I can hardly open my fingers again?
The pains are in my feet, my calf muscles and now a new one in my side and back, a terrific red hot pain?
Out of breath I never was but am now.
Over the last few weeks I have taken cholestral lowering natural drinks, almost zero fats to get my level down.
I have noticed my heart beat is now down to 58 at rest and my blood pressure is 115/72, normal they say is 120/80?
I was never advised how to reduce choolestral at first the doctor just put me straight onto this statin, are they paid for pushing this drug at all?
I will give it 3 more weks and go for a chemist check on my levels, if they are down I will go for a confirmation with the quack and deal with my own health in future?

My husband was cold all the time especially the last few months he took Lisinopril. He had a horrible rash, he felt sick and very weak and eventually developed a cough (this from a man I have rarely heard cough at all). He was just not himself. I'm so glad he's off the medication.

Me too. 53 year old male, athletic, proper weight, but BP was edging up to 140/85. Started 10mg Lisinopril 4 weeks ago. BP down to 115/73 avg. Weather turned cold, and I noticed my feet were extremely sensitive after being outside 15-20min- toes numb, took about 10 min to warm. Fingers got numb too. Happened twice now. I'm feeling cold quite often now, and have to dress very warmly to go outside. Also starting to feel tingling in arms and legs.
