There's nothing else they can give you besides bactrim? There are so many antibiotics out there, I would keep asking. If you're hurting this much after only 5 days, it's only going to get worse after 10. And, it may take years to get better, if ever. I will pray for you. Good luck.

The only antibiotic that treats staph is Doxycycline.

Doxycycline is the only antibiotic that will treat staph infection, so I'm told by my son's doctor.
