Provigil is the newest in "smart drugs" developed initially for airforce pilots to perform when sleep deprived. It doesn't have long term effects and processes easily through the liver. I've been on/off it for a few years. I use it sparingly as the effects wear off the more you use it. I take 1/2 of a pill in the morning. Don't take it late in the day, you won't be able to sleep. But you won't be groggy the next day like other amphetamines make you and you don't get jittery. It's great to combat jetlag. There are tons of articles about it these days. I had pneumonia and was bedridden. I had to attend a merger meeting to defend my company and took a Provigil. I was alert, able to perform and get through the day. It's perfect for when you need it, otherwise, it just keeps you awake. Oh yeah, it makes you heat tolerant. A little goes a long way, lower your dose. Definitely don't take two a day.
