Hello,
I just wanted to tell you that I also had a rare side effect with Geodon. I used to be on 80 mg. at night. I had what my psychiatrist called Oculogyric Crisis, which means uncontrollable movement of the eyes, in my case I could only look upward. I had this for about three months randomly occurring anytime day or night and went through several emergency room visits with no answers until my doc. realized this was what was happening. Immediately he drastically lowered my dose and it stopped. I hope that your side effects get better, I would lower the dose if I were you. I understand how uncomfortable this is. I have never found an antipsychotic with few side effects though. Take care.
I am so sorry... are you getting any better? My wife has constant swallowing from the drug...about to drive her insane. The Pdoc says Geodon could not cause this. WHAT DID THEN? God bless you and I am praying for you. Pat
