Just read you posting. I was on Femcon, stayed with it for 5 months. It was horrible. Hair loss, headaches, mood swings and so on. I was not myself. My doctor just gave me on Monday a prescription for Loestrin and I see the same horrible experiences from reading other people's messages. My husband and I have decided not to go onto it.
i was on femcon for 1 year and a few months. at first it was great, i thought, until i started getting anxiety attacks, very bad migraines every day, moody, tired, weight gain, etc. i do not suggest going on to this pill. i recently went off of femcon and am trying to decide if i should try a different pill or not. right now i feel great! good luck!
hey, i was reading your post because my dr. just switched me to loestrin 24 FE from femcon FE.
i had origionally started out with YAZ and i couldn't take it because i had a period for over 30 days!!!
So my dr. switched me to FEMCON & i stayed on it for almost a year. I was a little moody but didn't really see any significant changes. I gained a little weight, but not anything to be completely upset about.
I changed to loestrin because with the Femcon i was having a period even when i was taking the pills-
my body is just weird though.
femcon wasn't too bad i really don't think so.
maybe it will work for you- just thought i'd try to help you out some!!
