Don't be afraid it will soon stop. I know exactly what your going through and have helped sevaral people through it. Getting panicky, although a normal reaction makes it worse. You will feel better. Do you take any vitamins?
Dr's NEVER know why things go disarray while on Prednisone. But I promise you from my heart and 5 years experience of Prednisone taking you will be fine. Deep beaths and take it one day at a time. Soon the good days outnumber the bad and you wake up to the ole you.
Please take care and know all is well! Let me know any questions.
Yes, I had to take the prednisone, 50 mg. at 9:00 pm and 50 mg. at 4:00 am and was suppose to take another 50 mg. at 9:00 am to premedicate before my CAT scan because I have an allergy to the iodine. I could not believe how I felt when I woke up, I felt lousy and took my pulse. I could not believe it, it was 112 and went up to 120. Thank goodness I stopped and didn't take the other 50 mg. It is coming down but I still feel lousy. Hope you feel better. Take Care, Karen
