I have been on Atenolol for about 5 years. Thankfully, I do not experience the side effects that many are complaining about. My dosage is 75mg and I take HCTZ 25mg along with it. Recently I was put on Lisinopril and that has been an absolute nightmare. Dizziness, Headache, Dry, Spastic Cough and a Sore Tongue showing little deep slits in the front area and red. Interesting how one drug works for someone and for another it is their worst nightmare.
