Yeah I don't know why physicians just put us on this Aviane becau...

I want to thank everyone on here who posted about the awful side effects they had while takin Aviane, I too was prescribed Alesse and then since it was cheaper the pharmacist recommended Aviane. I had no sex drive, stomach pain, dizzy spells ... almost every side effect listed ... and it took me a year to figure out what was going on ... finally the light went off the other night and I found this site. I'm 25 and I've been on the pill since I was 15, I'm now married and I've decided to stop taking it, the side effects are totally not worth it anymore. I wanted to say that I've been off it for 3 days now and I feel so much better!!! Thanks everyone for their postings, they helped me make my decision.

I'm so glad I finally decided to look into side effects for this pill. I have been taking Aviane for 4 months now. I have never in the 5 years I've been married been on any birth control pill I was previously on the IUD. Anyhow after my baby was born I decided to go on the pill my Dr. prescribed Aviane I asked for low hormones and she said this would be the best one for me and also it would be the one my insurance would cover 100%. In the 4 months i've been on this pill I have had drastic mood swings, anger problems one minute i'm fine the other i'm angry the other i'm emotional. I have had major headaches every day and dramatic hair loss. I have also had a loss of sex drive. I feel so bad because I've always been very active sexually with my husband and now I feel like i'm neglecting him and I hate it. I'm getting off the pill all together I dont even want to try any other kind. I'm going to try another method.
