Hi, Fist off I'm a fit 38 year old male, not overweight, don't smoke, occasional social drinker. I've been taking Lisinopril since being diagnosed with high blood pressure in Feb 08, I was started on a dose of 5mg, which was then increased to 10mg and finally 20mg. The Lisinopril never really got my high blood pressure under control and my Doctor has now switched me to Bendroflumethiazide, only been on those for about a week so have to see how they go. Lisinopril certainly made me feel terrible:- Constant Fatigue Depressed Foggy No concentration Dizzy Tinnitus Pounding headaches if you feel like this then I'd go and see your Doctor and try something else

Same here! I play Ice Hockey twice a week and consider myself a healthy eater. However, due to a inherit family history of HBP and a reading of 156/106 earlier this year. I started taking these meds and found that I too have some memory loss. I don't sleep well at night, I have a throbbing aching left side of top of head, frequent urination, and a dull aching pain in my lower right side of abdomen. I sit at the desk all day as a Project Manager for a national wireless company and drink plenty of water daily. I thought this was my culprit of frequent urination but it's the pill that has increase this production.

I have been taking half of a 20mg dosage and still the BP is elevated-but lower than initial trigger. Since we all read this forum board daily I wondered if any current user knows, or heard, of individuals having serious health problems post their 'stop med' date. This is a very good board and it is good to hear that many people are also having unfamilair symptoms from original ingestion date. Please keep the posting up!

Thanks,
NCLou
