oh my gosh! all this for a UTI? cranberry juice (no sugar of course) or in supplement form and an IV of high dose vitamin C would have wiped it out with no side effects
UPDATE: This morning the doctors are now testing for myasthenia gravis because of the eye, throat & voice condition. She has had a setback with breathing difficulty and is now using oxygen. Eyes & throat are still swollen and her breathing hs become labored. I don't feel the doctors are taking the Avelox side effects serious enough.
Good news! Mom's symptoms have subsided really well today! Her eyes are open, her throat doesn't seem to be as restricted and she is talking much better. She is very weak but seem to be making progress.
The results are not back yet from the myastina gravis test but the doctor doesn't think she will test positive for it.
