Hello on the on the 3rd of December 08 I went to the hospital and was told I was in A FIB. After a scope and my heart being shocked back into normal rhythm I was sent home. I am taking Metoprolol ER Succinate and I think it is doing more harm than good. I have a headache all day long, my stomach hurts, my vision seems a little blurred at times, I have some pressure in my chest, I feel really tired and am short of breath. Im sure what to do. Anyone have any advice. E-mail at ******. net

I am 10 days on this medication for Ventricular tachycardia, and I too feel light headed and unsteady on feet. In addition night sweats. Has anyone responded to you?? Please share as I am suspect of doctors looking for easy answers and I believe medications cause as much damage as good. I've been shocked 3 times in last 6 weeks to get back a normal rythm.
