DO NOT TAKE THIS POISON!! I have spent the last 4 years dealing with adverse side effects of this medication. I have central nervous system damage, digestive disorders, anxiety, panic attacks, dizziness, achiness-it feels like a really really bad flu. My dad who is a doctor didn't believe that Levaquin was the cause at first however he had a chemist look up the compound makeup and was told to never prescribe this or any other fluoroquinolone again (cipro, avelox, etc!) Side effects can last long after you finish this medication. Also animals can get this stuff so it can be in the meat you eat which will make you feel worse or it could kill your beloved pets. Do your research. Warn friends and family-even strangers. Make a mediwatch report. Helpful sites if you are dealing with poisoning. There is also a yahoo group.

How long did you take it for? I took only 2 pills and I really don't feel great. No energy and I hurt all over, especially my neck and back(and elbows and shoulders.) I also get numbness in my face a lot.

Not surprised how you feel . . . This dangerous drug can cause MANY side effects . . . .even the FDA is warning about this drug and attorneys have ads for lawsuits . . .fortunately, ******** drs. continue to push this POISON drug !!!!!

my friend was taking levaquin for about 5 days for a flu/ pneumonia before she had a stroke!
