I also have been on Januvia for 3 weeks and right away started having back pain, disturbed sleep, extreme nausea, diarrhea, digestive problems, thought maybe I had heartburn all of a sudden, didn't know what was going on. Now I know it's the Januvia - I also take metformin and glucotrol for the diabetes type 2. I'm definitely quitting the Januvia - I will keep monitoring my condition and see what happens.

I just started the Januvia (this is the 4th day), and have had terrible diarrhea, nausea, and nothing tastes good. I am also on 2000mg Metformin (since Feb 1st) and 10mg Lisinopril (which I started 6 days ago). I wonder if the diarrhea will ease up?

I also have noticed that I'm having very vivid dreams, like watching a TV show (this is not normal for me). I am menopausal, so getting up during the night to pee is normal, but I was up 4 times last night being sick. I also have some back pain that is getting worse (it's tension-related)
