The second day after I started to take Lotrel 5/20 my blood pressure lowered considerably (good news) The bad news was about 45 after taking Lotrel I felt a gradual tightening in my lower neck that traveled up and increased in intesity until it felt like someone was tightening a noose around my neck! I could not inhale ANY air. Nothing. For about 30 seconds I struggled managed to croak air OUT not IN and say "anaphlactic shock 911" to my son. Just before I thought I was going to pass out I was able to get air in and gradually breath. I have never been so frightened in my life.
