Hi - I was on advair for a couple of weeks after a horrible bout of asthmatic bronchitis. I now have this constant pressure under my rib cage that will not go away. I was wondering if any one else has experienced this while on or after stopping advair. Thanks and happy holidays!

I have been taking Advair for 3 months now and I started out with joint pain but didn't relate it to the Advair but after reading the postings I am thinking it is related. But the main problem I'm having right now is the pain under my rib cage and my kidneys. I had a ultrasounf d done the other day because the doctor thought maybe I had gall stones. The ultrasound showed no stones but the tech said that she could tell I was in pain because everytime she came across my kidneys or my gall bladder area I was in pain. I didn't even think to relate this to the Advair until this morning.
I'll keep you posted on what the doctor says on Monday.

Yes I felt the same way, my Doctor thought it was acid reflex so he put me on some meds for that, I have recently stop using advair,my Doctor has refered me to a Lung specialist, prior to that I was using advair twice daily, extreme weight gain, sore feet hard to walk especially in the morning, also another side effect that I have not seen posted, is I would get a gasp of breath for not apparent reason, been off of advair since Monday and it's now Thursday and I feel great.

Hey all. I have had it for about 6 weeks now and I have never had asthma or bronchitis before. I'm taking steroids and just started the advair inhaler. I was having asthma attacks and everything. Very scary. I was just wondering how long it took you to get over it and what you did to get over it. I have been to so many doctors and everything. It's affecting my life. I won't leave the house due to fear of having another asthma attack. I just hope I feel normal again soon, please.
