Hi, I didnt know this web site existed. I am currently looking for a different method of birth control. I am 40 and i have been on the Femcon FE for about 7 months now and i do not like it. I would get really BAD headaches and nausea a week before my period which would last about 2 days and sometimes after right taking the pill i would get sick. My Dr. said its PMS! I beg to differ, before i was on the depo injection which was fine. I had no period but i had bad mood swings. I just stopped taking the Femcon Fe pill last week and have no symptoms. i am hoping to find something else. I also read about the essure procedure but not sure about it either. The Mirena IUD is an option i am considering. I know there are always going to be side effects with any of these. If anyone has any advice please share. :)
