You're withdrawing from WAY too many/much narcotics. fentanyl isn't feeding your habit.
Thanks for responding to my request for help. I will put this together with others and see if I can figure something out.
Get down on your knees and THANK GOD! The fentanyl patch was the worst thing I have ever done to myself. Within a very short period of time you become not only dependent but highly addicted and getting off of them is horrible. Withdrawal is scary and painful and takes a long time to get through. So count your blessings Mom! You are a very very lucky lady!
The morphine and percocet were being discontinued at the time I began the fentanyl. The fentanyl was the only pain medication I was on (I would have never used all three meds, I do know a bit about these drugs). But as I stated it ended up making me so sick that I had to discontinue it and go back on the morphine and percocet/oxycodone. My experience with all the narcotics I have taken for my pain over the years has been to become so tolerant that after just a couple months dosage has to be increased or a new drug perscribed instead. I would still appreciate any responses. I have been on narcotics for so long I have no doubt I am dependant but its the only way I can function.
