karina69,
Many of your symptoms sound all too familiar. I've been off Yasmin for 7 months now and I feel like I am on the road to recovery, but know I still have a long way to go.
Ever since day one, the doctors have not taken me seriously. I've seen countless doctors who all discount my symptoms and refuse blood tests such as vitamin b12, d and the clotting factor test. I've had the d-dimer test which came back negative though. Other tests have shown hormone imbalances, iron deficiency and high cholesterol- all of which have been ignored by my doctors.
They all say I have panic disorder and I know in my heart that this is only part of it. I still have heart palps, chest pain and shortness of breath but its no where near as bad as it was before. Fatigue, body rashes, migraines, vision problems, female problems- you name it, I've had it!
After seven months of looking for answers, I am truly exhausted. I'm over it and I just want my old, healthy body back! :(
I am so glad to hear that you have pretty much recovered after 3 years. It realy gives me hope. I'm saddened to hear of your lost pregnancy following Yasmin as that is one of my fears.
Thank you for your post. I have an endo appt in March so will ask for the above tests and see if anything comes of it.
Regards
Sarina
