I have been taking Nasacort for only a week. I developed a rash on my forearm 2 night ago and decided to stop taking the Nasacort and Amoxicillin. I noticed last night that I couldn't taste my food. I could only sense the saltiness. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE HAS REGAINED THEIR SENSE OF SMELL/TASTE. I'm in the restaurant business. My sense of smell and taste is my livelihood.

After my first use of Nasacort, I noticed an unpleasant change to my sense of taste - reminded me of my childhood years after I had said a naughty word. Has helped with nasal-related allergy symptoms, however.

I have been using nasacort for a couple of months and have lost my sense of smell and much of my taste. I had just had vocal surgery and wasn't sure whether the effect was from the nasal spray or anesthesia. I have stopped taking the spray completely. Have you regained your sense of smell? Did you see a doctor for help? Though I am not a chef, I have a passion for cooking which has been greatly hindered. Please tell me that there is hope.
