My husband and I have both been prescribe Gauifen/P-EPHED for his congestion and for my ear tubes. We both experience major drainage at first. It really cleared everything up. We did however feel the side effects of headaches,light headed ness, rapid heart beats, and we could not sleep at all! We had to cut the pills in half. The doctors should give people half the dosage if you ask me. And I read a post about a doctor prescribing this for there child... I would never give this stuff to a kid! Dont forget to drink lots of water like it says! Good Luck everyone.
