I just started taking Lisinopril 2 weeks ago for my high blood pressure, I'm coughing all the time with mucus, my left rib cage feels like somebody is continuously stabbing me in the same spot and then afterwards I would get a weird tingling sensation, I've lost my voice, I'm hungry all the time, I urinate way more than usual, I get irritated easily and start yelling at people when they haven't done anything, I'm exhausted from doing nothing. This medicine is terrible, I'm going to my doctor tomorrow and tell her that I'm going to stop taking it, I don't care, it's just not worth all the side effects.

When HBP meds were first prescribed for me it gave me the exact same side effect. I told my Dr and he changed it to Cozaar 100mg right away. I hadn't coughed since.
Don't just stop taking it; be sure to let your Dr know. As with any medication there's a chance for an adverse side affect. Your Dr will be happy you informed him.

It's probably the Lisinopril. I had the same problem. Doctor changed my blood pressure med and the coughing stopped immediately.

I had the same exact symptoms on lisinpril. Turns out I am allergic to ACE Inhibitors. You will need to be prescribed a different medication. You will also ALWAYS have to claim an allergy to ACE Inhibitors during any medical screening process.
