Oh my gosh! I am so glad I found this website! I started taking loestrin fe24 three and a half months ago. Last month I started with the heart palpitations. Went to see a cardiologist....wore a 24 hour monitor....had ekg....everything is normal. NORMAL my butt! I feel awful! The palpitations are getting so bad I have not slept in 3 days. I know that only makes it worse. I am thinking about just stopping the pill cold. The gyn called in ortho tricyclen for me but I can't start on that until the end of the month. I don't know if I can take this bcp for three more weeks. Any suggestions?

I just wanted to say that I have also been on loestrin 24Fe for six months and didn't realize until now that the pill could of been the reason for my palpitatons and anxiety. I also have had sinus infections along with headaches. Two months ago I went to the cardiologist had EKG, Stress Test and wore the 24 monitor and they too said everything was normal. That perhaps stress, anxiety or some medication was causing the palps. At that moment I didn't think it was the pill. You see I take it for endometriosis I already had a tubal after my third child. After reading the posts I was glad to finally see that the pill could be the reason for my side effects. I had been so frustrated with this for the past months I have stopped taking the pill for five days now I hope it won't be long before things get better it has been awful especially the palps.
