I've been taking Topamax for 18 months to prevent visual aura migraines. So far it has been pretty successful, however, I have experienced several side effects like all of you fellow posters: I have experienced the IBS effect. And visual effects: picket-fence like trails following signs as I drive past bright objects at night. I also strobe-like moments of vertigo that will last for several seconds.
