The nurse practitioner i go to see for Worker's Compensation gave me this medicine to see if it will work on my bulging disks, severe compression, arthritis, and degenerative disk disease, to reduce any inflammation I have. I took 3 pills at once at lunch on the day I started and I couldn't get rid of the taste for hours! Then later I noticed a flushed feeling, which is supposed to be normal. I then started to get really annoyed with my 3 year old son. I stopped taking the meds that night and started taking them in the morning. I again felt flushed and easily angered by either my wife or my son. My problem is this: Either take this medication as prescribed, go through the bad side effects or take my chances with the steroid shots and hope I don't develop worse back problems? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I happened to come across your thread and thought your story was like my grandmother, who has a terrible back with four bulging disks and degenerative issues with here spine and so forth. She can't even have steroid shots anymore the docs won't let her and they said surgery won't help either. Right now I'm trying to get her to look into Spinal Decompression Therapy. You should check it out. Hopefully a spine specialist in your area can help you with this new technique without the use of meds...or at least less of them. Good Luck!
