I had my Mirena taken out yesterday after only 2 months of using ...

I've read over and over again how doctors are saying that the hormone stays local, that it's a "small" amount, that it can't possibly cause such side effects....blah blah blah...but my doctor, on the other hand, didn't bat and eye and told me that he had been hearing the same complaints from many of his patients....he did not dispute it at all. Obviously this Mirena was touted as a miracle contraceptive....I think it's high time that the pharmaceutical companies invest money in male birth control and let THEM suffer such side effects....bet the options improve in a hurry!!
