Major hair loss, gobs and gobs of hair loss, stomach pains and MA...

Yes! I have now had the IUD for 3 1/2 weeks and have experienced MAJOR bloating. So much that even a nurse who saw my stomach several days prior to the IUD complimented how flat my stomach looked 4 months after having a baby. I gave it 7 days and called into doctor & I was told to take gas medication. I knew this was not the prob! Yesterday, I went to dr and he did ultra sound & found that I have 2 ovarian cysts. This is not caused by the IUD. However, dr said the bloating was not caused by IUD, but I find that strange since the day after insertion I ballooned out 5 inches! He have me Femcon a birth control to help the cyst. Today, 12 hours after taking the pill my bloating has reduced signigicantly. I plan to have IUD taken out next week and will just continue and this chewable birth control pill. But IUD did cause major bloating with me. It is not listed as a side effect in PI, so drs keep telling patients they have gas! HA
