levaquin intervenously for bladder infection in hospital blistering rash on lips .out of hospital given avelox believe same family : blistering rash on lips between thighs and buttocks. went to dermatologist said allergic reaction to avelox. took blood test do not know name of the tests. doctor's conclusion do not take any medicine in the avelox family :he told me avelox in the levaquin family

It's the fluoroquinolones family. Cipro is another very common drug in this family. Hope you feel better soon. Please file a medwatch report with the FDA.
