I to ended up doing the home schooling route, file a report with medwatch, talk to your doctor, visit www.parentsforsafety.org to get more info.Your doctor will probly say its not the drug, but ask him to do a blood test,to check his esophilla levels,if they are high then your children are allergic to this drug, more than likelyWe are fighting we are shouting to be heard, children are suffering and it has to stop.Good luck you are not alone
My son developed depression while taking Singulair and as soon as we learned it was a possible side effect and stopped giving him Singulair, his depression lifted. He also suffered a myriad of other psychiatirc symptoms while taking Singulair that are no longer evident. My family endured five years of turmoil and emotional pain because of the side effects of this drug. To add insult to injury, I recently discovered that Singulair is not the recommended treatment for allergies or asthma (he took it mainly for asthma but he also has allergies). Good luck to you and your family.
