I was diagnosed with Valley Fever right out of high school. I was always very active in high school and in competitive cheer. I was in amazing shape and great lung strength. After have Valley Fever everything changed dramatically and still do this day I cannot breath right and am totally out of breath doing the smallest things. I was eventually diagnosed with COPD and was instructed to take advair 2x a day. I have never felt worse in my life. I get all shaky, my heart races, anxiety, I am out of breath and feel sometimes that I am going to pass out. I am an avid snowboarder and last week on our yearly snowboard trip in Colorado I started feeling shaky and passed out on the mountain shortly after taking advair. I do not recommend this to anyone. I would rather have a nasty cough than to feel totally out of control of my body.
