Hi Jeena. You sure have been through a lot for your young age. Did the doctors think your AVN was caused by the prednisone? I am curious because your knee symptoms match mine, and none of my doctors have any answers. Right now my knees feel fine, but that week or so of nocturnal knee pain was intense. It was right after the final injection. It hasn't even been a month since the knee pain, and about a month since my last steroid injection and 4 1/2 weeks since the oral prednisone. I am 50, and would probably be fairly casual about future knee pain because of the osteoarthritis in my other joints. I haven't found anything on the web about prednisone and knee pain. But now that I have seen your post I will definitely stay on top of any future pain. Does your husband remember any of the websites? Thank you in advance for any information you have and you have my prayers for a full recovery .and no more surgeries. Val
Absolutely, what your husband read in my belief is true.
