If you haven't already done so, I would get your thyroid tested. The dry skin and hair loss are symptoms of thyroid problems (hyper and hypothyroid problems). If you've had your thyroid tested and the results have come back normal I would ask the doctor the exact number of your TSH level. Many labs have varying ideas of what normal is, and many doctors only look to see that nothing was marked abnormal. One lab may consider you hypothyroid with a TSH over 4.5 and another lab will say you are hypothyroid with a TSH over 4.7. The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist recommend your TSH level be between 0.3 and 3.04. If your number is below 0.3 you would be considered hyperthyroid and if it is above 3.04 you would be considered hypothyroid (usually responsible for weight gain). I would check out this website for more information on the thyroid: www.stopthethyroidmadness.com
Also if it does turn out to be your thyroid, the medicine they normally prescribe called Levothyroxine, will also cause some initial hair loss in the first couple of months of taking it.
The thyroid can definitely cause most of the symptoms you've described. If you haven't had your thyroid tested, don't delay another day, call your doctor.
