I have been taking Yasmin on and off for about a year and a half....

I have been taking Yasmin on and off for about a year and a half. I normally have very severe mood pms, and when I went off Yasmin, it got much, much worse. When I went back on Yasmin, it resolved again. I've never had any of the side effects described here, so I guess different women must have very individualized reactions to these things. I also was put on Ocella by my doctor last month, and had horrible side effects (crying for no reason, terrible anxiety, etc.). I'd much rather pay a little more for Yasmin than have the side effects from the supposed generic!

Hi, i am please to hear you have yet to have any issues being on Yaz. Though it is not worth the chance......I almost died 12/18 due to blood clots in both my lungs. There was/is not another possible reason this happened to me other then from taking this pill. If you search online you will find more and more info. on how bad this pill is and how bad it can be for you. Only time will tell or get smart and don't take the chance....it's not worth it. Yea, i would have said the same thing as you posted until this happened to me and my life was almost ended.....
