Im a 32 year old male that was put on simvastatin 40 mg and cardizem 240 mg. I am now having severe headaches, so bad i cant go too work anymore, dizziness, fatigue, legs feel shaky all the time, cant stand up for long periods of times. Doctors claim its not the medications but its funny i never had these problems until i started taking these medications, after reading what people have too say about the simvastatin on here i am done with that, i cant live my life like this anymore. I have also heard my other medication can cause these problems so im going too talk too my cardiologist about a different one too control my heart. Im glad i have found other people having problems like me, i don't feel so crazy now.

My husband takes the 80 mg and has had for several months very severe headaches that last over 8 hours and they just terrible. No pain killer will help at all. He just had a stint put in 2 weeks ago and had a severe headache in the hospital and they gave him medication and nothing worked at all. Saturday we decided to take him off of it and he is just taking his blood pressure medicine and believe it NO HEADACHES at all for 2 whole days now, what a blessing. We see the cardiologist the 23rd of Feb and will tell him what we are doing. Good luck with your headaches.

My husband is 59 and he is taking the 80 mg and has very severe headaches. He just had a stint put in his cartoid artery and while in the hospital he had a severe headache and no pain medication would stop the headache. So since he has been home the last 2 weeks he has had headaches and way before the surgery. So we decided on Saturday to just take the high blood pressure medicine and believe it NO HEADACHES. We have an appointment on 23rd of Feb and will let the cardiologist know what we have done. Good luck with your headaches. Will be praying for you some peace and pain free.
