I had my Mirena put in in May of last year to resolve heavy periods caused by firbroids. I spotted for a couple of months - but I've gained 15lbs and my stomach is rock hard like it was when I was pregnant. I spent four days in bed with severe aches and pains which I attributed to a flu or virus but I crave sleep the way I did when I was pregnant. I also have some slight nausea and dizzyness - which is funny because I didn't have any when I was pregnant. The final tipping point was the severe depression - I never suffered with PMS really - but I was crying all the time and was so severely depressed I couldn't think straight. I'm having mine removed on Wednesday and I can't wait!
