I was on 100mg Asprin and 20mg Omeprazole for a few years. Recently, I started to have burping and acid reflux. My cardiologist increased my dosage to 40mg. Lo and behold, Iess than two weeks I began to experience severe pain on my right knee and later on both knee. I suspect it was arthritis. Having read the above input, seem logical that the possible sauce of the severe pain on the knee joints could be the increased dosage of Omeprazole. I will stop the Omeprazole immediately. I shall update again to confirm if this is indeed the root cause.
