After taking 5 doses of 750 mg Levaquin beginning Friday January 30 for lung congestion and infection, I literally can not walk! I have never had any leg pain, trouble, muscle cramps, etc...Sunday, my chest hurt so bad I had my hand on my home phone and my cell phone ready to dial 911 (I was home by myself). My legs started hurting and I felt like I needed a walker just to get around my house. My legs are in constant pain. I am only 45 and wonder if 5 days of this medicine is going to permanently handicap me!

Please stop taking that levaquin! This medication almost crippled my mother! She had test done and the levaquin is the cause of leg cramps pain etc... it can handicap you for life if you continue to take it. she took it for a week and still has trouble with her legs (a year later). Please stop or you will be the same! Good luck!

I seriously believe that if I had been given 750 mg doses I would not be here. I survived 500 mg pills ........ just barely. I am still dealing with the damage more than 2 yrs later. 750 mg would have killed me.
