bkf37, glad to hear of your success story. Hope you continue to do well! however, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, yours is the most insane opinion I've heard yet. I am glad that people will take the time to post their experiences about certain medication! since you have a problem with it then don't post a stupid comment on the web. I 've been recently put on Metoprolol and I am having some of the same terrible side effects that the physcians are not discussing with their patients. Thank God for these post, I did complain to the Dr. and for the shin pain I was rx 2 heavy pain meds, take 3&4 times a day, not as needed. just take them, and for the nightmares I was rx an antidepressent to take daily, My daughter said no wonder your fainting,
