Hi, I started Yasmin21 about a 3 month ago (i just started the forth pack). I have very similar symptoms. i have pressure around my eyebrows, back of my eyes, back of my head, between my nose, my jaw, some part of my face, my neck, back, shoulders hurts. i lost a few pounds and i am so nervous all the time. The pain comes and goes away and sometimes when i touch the painful part of my head, it hurts. it's on and off. I thought it's sinus, but i guess it's not. I saw the orthopedic dr. for my back pain and he refers me to neurologist and neurologist said i don't need to do MRI and my reflexes test as ok. Also after i eat i have nausea and acidity. I don't know if Yasmin is causing all of these problems???!!!

I was on Yasmin for about 4 years and when I went on it I started suffering from really bad headaches! I put this down to the fact that I needed glasses but the headaches continued. Now 4 years later, I have come off Yasmin and the headaches have stopped. Doctors have put me on HRT now but they were concerned the Yasmin was causing these headaches

Ocella caused me to have bad headaches, just like you are describing. I never get headaches. It also caused severe insomnia, and SEVERE anxiety. I stopped taking it, and I still do not feel back to normal (about three weeks). My doctor told me it was definately caused by taking the Ocella and to stop it right away. They list all these symptoms as "rare", but they were very prevalent in my case, and I have no risk factors for taking this medication. Hope this helps.

I have been taking ocella for two months...and i had headaches for the 1st month for about three days then it went away. now im in the second month and have had headaches for the 3 weeks of active pills...I looked at everything I was doing within the three weeks: school, work, food, other medicines, and now its down to ocella. I'm going to stop taking it tonight. I thought possibly writing on this website and describing my symptoms would possibly help someone else. My headaches orginated and have stayed on the right side of my head, mainly behind my right eye, and at the base of my skull. They arent relieved by pain killers, and the worst part of all is that i go to sleep with them and wake up with a headache in the morning. I'm going to stop Ocella and see what happens.

omg you girls have helped me so much. I have been dealing with these excruciating headaches for 3 years of my life and everyone was telling me they are sinus.... or migraine... got brain MRIs to rule out anything bad. On anti-seizure medications with horrible side effects losing tons of weight. Have been on Yasmin switched to Ocella over past 5 years- probably this all along!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Did any of you switch birth control pills or totally get off completely. I am wondering if there are any other out there that do not cause headaches!
