Hi,
I believe that the levaquin is what caused you to have all of the body aches and rigid muscles, etc. I think it also caused your urine to turn brown.
I would not take it anymore, it did all kind of things to me and I only took it for four days like you. Good luck. I would ask the doctor for another antibiotic or suffer with the sinus infection.
Yes, Levaquin can cause the rhabdomyolysis as well as dozens of other problems. This is a dangerous drug that can be fatal. So many safer alternatives for sinus infections. Have you checked into a neti pot? I have never used one but I have heard many people say that this helped rid them of their infections.
Thank you. I took dose two tonight and I am pretty positive that I am having issues again. I am debating about going to the ER. No more Levaquin for me. I can barely walk.
This is important...Levaquin has two big side effects...memory loss and depression. I couldn't remember huge blocks of time and was incredibly depressed. If you overdosed, I wouldn't rule out the Levaquin as it messes with you central nervous system.
