Wellbutrin can cause seizures. I took Wellbutrin for a couple of years with no problem, but one week I was working over time and had little sleep and the combination pushed me over the limit. I had never had a seizure before in my life. I came to in the floor at my parents' house as the ambulance arrived. The first thing that the ER doctor asked me was if I was taking Wellbutrin. He told me that he sees several seizures cases per week of people taking Wellbutrin. He advised that I never take it again. I had all the follow up test done and no other reason could be found for the seizure. I have not taken Wellbutrin since that. It was one year and six months ago and I am seizure free. This drug should be off the market, in my opinion.
