Lily, I have had the same side effects that you are talking about. I will get hot but not like all over just back of arms,legs or face and oddly enough inside my stomach then cold the next. I also have weakness as a side effect. I am feeling better after being off of the stuff for a few days. I think its going to take a while. I think you may be suffering from low blood pressure as well. If you feel faint and have a rapid heartrate. I am on Proamatine to keep my blood pressure up. Also on Lexipro. These two together seem to be helping. What kind of tests did the ER do on you? Have you had the symptoms since the Levaquin? I want you to hang in there and pray. God will deliver you from this... Lily, Like Judy I am praying for you. I know what you are going through. It will get better in time but somehow you have to keep focused on getting well. The worst for me was the first 4 months then slowly started getting better. I took magnesium and I think it may have helped. Also you may want to try epsom salt baths. Hang in there.

i took this medicine for a bladder infection a few days after the csection i had with my daughter. i thought this drug was going to kill me! you need to stop taking it right now and take some benydryl. i was so sick and exhausted... it was making me have giant red hot spots on my body that would burn. my husband had ice packs and rags in the freezer he kept bringing in and putting on the red spots till they went away. i left rags under my breasts and within less than thirty seconds they would be hot. but at the same time i was also freezing... it was such a horrible experience.
