Hi......I feel your pain. I think these doctors are tossing everyone on this Lisinopril and not understanding these side effects it gives us all. I would like to hear more about your palpitaions. I think I may be having those also but surely would not agree now to have an EKG. after seeing what just two visits plus simple blood work cost me with No insurance. I would hate to see what all your charges added up too. My doctor put me on 10mg right away for my HBB. I think its too much at once myself and have been cutting it in half seems to have helped. I have read some articles that a person can live along time with no troubles with his blood pressure a little hgher than those 120/80 standards. For me I know I have to have something but is this Lisinopril the answer I dont know yet. But as far as your mood changes, depressed & weakness I have no doubt this pills does that too us all. It really screws up my sleeping as well. But of course all doctors just think we are making the things up !!
Good luck and keep the comments coming as I think there is alot more people reading these post than one we all would guess !!
Hi, I'm a fellow lisinopril sufferer. I took lisinopril for 3 months, now five years ago, and I've been a mess ever since. I have found a few things that help. I get irregular heart beat from time to time, and what seems to help me is vit-c, 500mg, the pure kind, ascorbic acid, not a buffered or time-release kind. (Because I take a buffered vit-c (calcium ascorbate) daily and still get irregular heart beat once or twice a year, I'm thinking that it's more the ph of the pure vit-c that helps rather than the vit-c itself.)
Best of luck to all!
