I'm glad I found this forum. I been taking zocor aka simvastatin for about 6 months. I started experiencing dizziness and lighhead about 6 weeks ago.
I am going to stop taking this drug immediately. I also feel like I am drunk but Im not. All my blood test came out fine. I went to the ENT Dr. and they told me
it does not look like a ear problem. All I know, I did not have any medical problems until I started taking this drug. I will let you know in 6 weeks if my symptoms improve or not.

I stop taking simvasting for 6 months but my balance issues did not go away. I am almost convinced not that it was not the simvasting. However, I went to a ENT inner ear test, and the Dr. does not see anything wrong with my inner ear. I am going to ask my ENT to prescribe nasonex and see if this is due to sinus in the back of my ear. I will let you know what I find.
