Firstly, I'm so glad I found this website as it helped me out immensely. I had been taking Doxycycline Hyclate for a STD (seven day course of 2 x's 100mg capsules a day). I started the treated with no discomfort at all but about four days in I started getting really bad diarrhea and stomach pains. It's been three days now since I have finished the treatment and I'm still getting diarrhea tho not as bad as it was. Never again shall I take this antibiotic! And I would advice others to ask for a different antibiotic (if possible), as this one will result in you needing at least 1 or 2 weeks of Uni/work etc. D. from England, UK.
