OK you really caught me on the bp issue. Mine was alwasy below 120/80 - now today it was 155/104.. I originally went to the dr because I was afraid I had a blood clot. I have terrible numb and discomfort in my leg. They gave me a steriod shot in my hip for short term releif. Just glad for know it doesn't seem to be the clot.
i feel u girl...this stuff is CRAZY i can't take it anymore. coming out NOW!!!
Hi I was reading your post and thought wow. This sounds familiar.
Since you've worked with doctors I thought you might be of help. I only had mine in two days, before taking it out but ive been dizzy, tired, moody, blurred vison and i'm SO shaky. Do you think this is a result of nuva ring after only two days of it?
Hey just wanted to repy to you, I am only on my second Month of the Nuva ring, I feel like i am serarching the internet endlessly trying to figure out if my symptoms are coming from the nuvaring! My boyfriend has herpes, and so ive been thinking I must of got that from him, even though we have been really careful.. though ive been to the doctor freaking out about it, its negative everytime. So Now, after reading everyone's post, ive realized that I have very very bad pain in my vagiana area. When I wipe after I pee it feels just sensitive and painful.. almots like the Charmins toliet paper is scratching me, My mood swings are making me feel like I am crazy - my poor boyfriend is just hanging in there. I had the most unfamiliar pain the first week of putting it in starting from my inner thighs and it ran down to the tip of my toes... I was itchy, and as soon as I took it out, everything negative disapeared. I just put it in this past sunday and Now im starting to have my symptoms again... Im now almost 100% sure its from the nuvaring. eck.. think Im going to call my doc and try something else... I just didnt know if any other birth control worked for you - ive always been on the pill, but that was lowering my sex drive a little.. but heck I'd rather that then all the other symptoms.
I am replying because I too think the ring has changed. I have been on it for 4 years, and never had a side-effect until the last year, so I didn't think it could be related. I am now working with doctors for blood pressure, depression, anxiety and fatigue now today realizing it's probably the ring. I too think because the ring is so popular now, the formula/hormones are different.
I had mine in for 3 weeks and took it out because of all that crap! I know my body, and this whole time it was telling me to get it out!!! So I took it out early. I was just wondering since you and other's have said you used it before and it was great, so thats why you think they changed it. Why would they change it, and how would you find out? Just curious, because I am NEVER doing that again!
