First of all, levaquin can CAUSE kidney failure. Don't take anymore. With your gastro systems as you describe, you are looking at months of recuperation. The gas, bloating, chest pain, rapid heart beat, and gastro spasming (feels like heart attract) come and go. Typically, acid reflux meds don't help with levaquin gasro problems. Gax-X for gas and bloating and prescription "Levsin" helps with the chest pain and spasms. A very bland diet and yogurt with cultures help some. Nothing strenuous as your tendons are at great risk. Your symptoms somewhat mirror my own and I am serveral months out now from my last does. Do you have any head, neck or extremity tingling? Do you have dizziness or lightheadness? Balance has been a problem too. My gastro doc indicated that it will likely take a year for my stomach and intestines to return to normal.
