Hi, Is there an antidote for Levaquin? I took it for 7 days and stopped 3 days ago. Is there anything recommended to reverse it and detoxify in order to limit the damage? I saw in the warnings sheet from the pharmacy that it should not be taken with Iron, Magnesium and Calcium. Maybe it's good to take all of those now to try to neutralize it. It would be good to get the antidotes published here so that others who come along later can start removing it from their bodies it as soon as they find this web site. Anyone with detox recommendations, please post them.

Therein lies the on-going problem.... if detox or an "antidote" were possible then we would all be a little better off. Unfortunately, damage requires repair, not an antidote. This stuff damages the human body and the effects are long term. TIME is the only antidote presently known.

I never imagined an antibiotic could have these effects. It truly is nasty. Thanks for your response.

Me neither. I think the contributes as well..... we have come to expect antibiotics to fairly typical prescriptions and didn't expect this to happen. Even after months had gone by and I thought I was getting better I didn't expect my bicep to suddenly detach either. I've NEVER had muscle or tendon problems. Now they are my daily sentence and I haven't even hit 50 yet. I really believe this is a defective drug. Antibiotics should not do this to people. The drug companies should come clean about it too. I'm sure they know but they continue to cover it up.

I wish you well. Some people rebound better than others. Let's hope you are one of the fortunate ones.
